Strength Without Shame
Angelina Baez, founder of Mind Body With Ang, a nutritionist and fitness coach based in Chino Hills.
Angelina helps people reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels safe, sustainable and grounded in mental wellness, not shame or aesthetics.
Her approach blends functional nutrition, Pilates-based movement and nervous system education to support clients in repairing their relationship with food, improving energy and building strength without obsession.
Much of her work centers on helping women step away from restrictive dieting and scale-driven progress.
She specializes in mental health-informed nutrition, intuitive eating foundations, and pre- and postnatal support, with additional training in lactation counseling.
Her goal is simple but powerful: to help people feel regulated, nourished and empowered, not controlled by food or fitness.
Coaching From Understanding, Not Perfection
Angelina’s work is deeply personal.
She has navigated anxiety, OCD tendencies and body image pressure, particularly within fitness environments that prioritized weight and appearance over true wellbeing.
She saw firsthand how damaging that culture could be, especially for women.
She knew she wanted to create something different.
Mind Body With Ang was built from a desire to dismantle stigma around mental health and prove that strength and nourishment can coexist.
Angelina doesn’t coach from a pedestal of perfection.
She coaches from lived understanding.
That commitment to authenticity continues to fuel her work and helps her clients feel less alone in their healing.
One of her most pivotal moments came when she chose to leave a workplace that no longer aligned with her values.
Walking away meant sacrificing stability and rebuilding parts of her business but it also brought clarity.
It allowed her to deepen her focus on nutrition, mental health support and expanding into pre- and postnatal care.
Protecting her peace ultimately strengthened her purpose.
Growing With Integrity
Right now, Angelina’s biggest challenge is scaling in a way that remains aligned with her values.
In a digital world driven by trends and clickbait, she is intentional about building a brand rooted in ethics, depth and mental health awareness even if that growth is slower.
She refuses to water down her message for visibility.
Clinically, she is in a transitional season.
She is completing the remaining supervised hours required for her CNS credential, which will allow her to expand her scope of practice and accept insurance.
That step is essential to her long-term vision of making care more accessible, particularly for women navigating mental health struggles, disordered eating histories and pre/postnatal transitions.
After recently leaving a misaligned work environment and recovering from a car accident, she was forced to temporarily slow down and reduce her training income to focus on healing and completing her clinical hours.
The tension now lies between short-term income and long-term expansion.
But that pause has brought clarity.
She is intentionally finishing her CNS credential so she can build a sustainable, accessible practice that reflects her deepest values.
At Reignelle, we honor women like Angelina who choose integrity over trends, proving that growth rooted in mental wellness and authenticity will always create lasting impact.
