Reclaiming Your Worth and Power

From Childhood Trauma to Boundaries Coach

Pamela’s story began at the age of 11 when she picked up her first journal.

What started as a simple act of writing down her thoughts would soon become an essential tool in her emotional healing.

“Journaling was my escape, my way of sorting through the trauma I had experienced growing up,” Pamela recalls.

As she grew older, she realized the transformative power of journaling wasn’t just in its cathartic release, but in its ability to help her recognize patterns and boundaries both within herself and in her relationships.

In 2007, after becoming a certified life coach, Pamela started to notice a pattern in the women she worked with.

Many of them struggled to achieve their goals not because they lacked talent or drive, but because they struggled to set healthy boundaries.

That was when she decided to specialize in boundaries coaching. “Women who don’t know their worth struggle with boundaries,” Pamela explains.

“Once they begin to understand their value, they can finally set boundaries that allow them to flourish.”

The Struggles of Self-Worth and the Power of Boundaries

Pamela’s own journey to self-worth wasn’t without challenges.

Her husband’s initial resistance to her work was a significant hurdle.

“He wanted me to help him build his network marketing business, and I did for 10 years,” she explains. “

But I realized I needed to focus on helping women, especially those who were facing struggles with self-esteem, like I did.”

Recognizing the lasting effects of childhood trauma on a woman’s ability to set boundaries was a turning point.

“As I did my own healing work, I understood how trauma affects the way we show up in relationships. It holds us back from knowing our value, and that impacts our ability to create healthy boundaries,” she reflects.

It took years of persistence, but eventually, Pamela’s husband came to understand and support her vision.

“It took a lot of boundaries on my part and a full commitment to my business. But I’m finally at a place where he gets it, and now he supports me.”

Helping Women Find Their Voice and Value

Pamela’s work focuses on teaching women to identify their intrinsic worth so that they can confidently set boundaries that align with their needs and desires.

Her clients often come to her feeling stuck, unsure of how to protect their time, energy, and emotions.

“I help women understand that it’s not about pushing others away; it’s about knowing yourself and respecting your own value,” she says.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of her work has been the transformation she’s witnessed in her clients.

“I had one client who, after several sessions, shared things she’d never talked about before. Over time, she was able to reconnect with her husband in a way that healed their relationship physically and emotionally,” Pamela shares.

For her, this is the true power of boundary-setting: it allows individuals to open up, heal, and live more authentic lives.

From Struggling to Thriving

Like many entrepreneurs, Pamela has faced her own challenges in growing her business.

“Exposure has always been a challenge for me. I just hired someone to help me with that,” she admits.

“But I’ve learned to trust the process, and I’m no longer afraid of sharing my message.”

Pamela’s openness and vulnerability with her audience have been vital in building her following, especially as she continues to share her expertise on her podcast, Let’s Talk Boundaries.

“I love having guests on my podcast who share their own transformative stories. It’s a reminder of why I do this work,” she says.

The fear of not being heard can be discouraging, especially when people don’t engage with the content she provides.

“It can be disheartening when I don’t get responses to my emails or when people don’t act on what I offer,” Pamela reflects.

“But I remember that not everyone is ready for change. And it’s not my job to make them. My job is to keep offering support to those who are ready.”

Living the Life She Was Meant For

Pamela is now living her ideal life—one where she has learned to assert herself, achieve her goals, and live in alignment with her true calling.

“I am doing exactly what I was placed on this earth to do,” she says, beaming with pride.

Yet, it hasn’t always been easy. She’s learned that self-care, detachment, and knowing her own worth are essential to her journey.

“Dealing with a narcissistic daughter who has turned my grandchildren against me has been heartbreaking,” Pamela admits.

“But it’s forced me to set boundaries that protect me. I’ve had to learn to detach, and that’s been the hardest but most rewarding lesson.”

Embracing Your Worth and Setting Boundaries

Pamela’s work is a reflection of her personal journey—one of healing, growth, and self-discovery.

Through journaling, boundary-setting, and self-empowerment, she helps women reclaim their value and take control of their lives.

Pamela’s mission is clear: to empower women to recognize their worth, set healthy boundaries, and flourish in all aspects of their lives.

At Reignelle, We believe that everyone deserves to live a life where they feel valued and empowered.

Pamela’s story is a powerful reminder that healing begins with recognizing your worth, and that boundaries are a crucial part of creating the life you deserve.
