When Life Feels Too Full to Feel Alive
Julia Lodge works with women who look “fine” on the outside but feel exhausted, disconnected and stretched thin on the inside.
Based in Bend, Oregon, she is a Holistic Nurse Coach who supports busy mamas stuck in cycles of chronic stress.
Her work helps women create space for themselves again, space to breathe, to feel present and to reconnect with what makes them feel alive.
As that inner shift happens, the ripple effects touch everything: relationships, work satisfaction, health, and overall wellbeing.
She believes our culture has normalised running ourselves ragged, sacrificing our own needs for everyone else.
And she’s here to help change that.
Burnout Was the Beginning
This work began with her own burnout.
There was a time when she felt deeply disconnected from her life, moving through the days on autopilot, caught in chronic stress and feeling far from herself.
As she began rebuilding her relationship with her own nervous system, energy, and needs, she discovered the world of coaching.
It felt different.
More proactive.
More human.
As a nurse, she had grown exhausted by a system focused on crisis management rather than root causes.
Coaching offered something she had been craving, the ability to slow down, treat the whole person and support healing before things completely fell apart.
Healing From the Inside Out
What drew her in most was the lens.
Coaching allowed her to look at people within the context of their lives, their environment, relationships, stress patterns and inner world rather than just symptoms.
That shift changed everything.
Healing, she realised, doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from creating space.
From learning how to be present again.
From tending to the root instead of constantly reacting to the surface.
Nothing compares, for her, to watching women soften, reconnect and get their sparkle back.
Learning a New Language
The entrepreneurial world, however, was entirely new territory.
She often jokes that she missed the semester on business in nursing school.
Building something of her own required learning a whole new language, one she never expected to need.
Hiring a savvy business coach became an essential part of her journey, offering guidance, structure, and support as she navigated unfamiliar terrain.
It’s a reminder she now shares with her clients: we’re not meant to do this alone.
Creating a New Paradigm
At the heart of her work is a quiet but radical invitation.
To slow down.
To take up space.
To stop sacrificing ourselves for the sake of everyone else.
She supports women in creating lives that feel sustainable, nourishing, and present, not just productive.
Because when women learn to care for themselves differently, everything around them begins to change.
At Reignelle, we honour women like her, those who choose wholeness over hustle, presence over pressure, and healing that lasts.
