As the founder of Mindful-Balance, Cheryl offers a unique approach that blends mindfulness, emotional wellness, and personal growth strategies to help women reclaim their well-being.

A Journey of Transformation

Cheryl’s journey into life coaching was a deeply personal one.

Having struggled with mental and emotional wellness herself, she found herself at a crossroads where she could either remain stuck or turn her life around.

The turning point came when someone spoke life into her, urging her to go back to school and pursue the certifications she needed to help others who were experiencing the same struggles.

This spark led Cheryl to formally launch Mindful-Balance in August 2024, but she had already been doing the work for years before that.

Since 2011, Cheryl has been helping women understand and manage their emotions, improve their mental health, and create harmony in their lives.

Through her coaching, she offers tailored tools and techniques for managing stress, anxiety, and emotional reactivity.

“I teach women how to become more aware of their thoughts and behaviors, and how to incorporate mindfulness techniques into their everyday lives,” Cheryl shares.

Overcoming Technological Hurdles

While Cheryl is deeply passionate about the work she does, it hasn’t come without its hurdles.

Technology has been one of her biggest challenges, especially when it comes to navigating the complexities of setting up her online presence.

“I didn’t know much about computers,” she admits.

“But I’m a die-hard learner, so I just kept going.”

This resilience has allowed her to push through the difficulties and embrace the learning curve of running a digital business.

Cheryl’s dedication to overcoming these obstacles shows that nothing can stop her from offering valuable tools to the women she serves.

Even when faced with technological barriers, Cheryl perseveres, knowing that the ultimate goal is to create a safe and empowering space for women to heal and grow.

“I help women gain a greater awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Through mindfulness, they can learn how to break free from emotional reactivity and manage stress more effectively,” Cheryl explains.

Her aim with Mindful-Balance is to give women the mental and emotional freedom they need to feel empowered and capable of handling life’s challenges.

A New Era of Wellness

With a mission to help women navigate the ups and downs of life with resilience and balance, Cheryl is working on expanding her reach.

She’s in the process of revamping her website and is also setting up a podcast, a long-time dream of hers.

“I’ve always wanted to be on a panel, and I believe this podcast will bring clarity and lessons to those who need it,” she says with excitement.

Cheryl is also exploring the idea of having an assistant help with managing the day-to-day tasks of the business.

This extra support will allow her to focus more on what she loves most: coaching and supporting her clients.
