This Gym Was Built for Healing

Strength That Saved Her

Georgie Marie didn’t find the gym to change her body.

She found it to save her life.

As a teenager, Georgie lived with anorexia for four years, a battle that consumed her mentally and physically.

At her lowest point, the gym became more than a place to train.

It became a lifeline.

A space where strength replaced control, where movement rebuilt trust, and where purpose slowly returned.

Without it, she knows her story could have ended very differently.

Instead, it became the beginning of everything.

Georgie is a fitness coach and personal trainer with nearly five years of experience, and the owner of a private 1-to-1 personal training studio in her hometown of Morfa Bychan, North Wales.

She works exclusively with women, helping them feel strong, confident, and empowered in their bodies regardless of shape or size.

Because beauty doesn’t look one way.

And fitness was never meant to be one-size-fits-all.

Rewriting the Fitness Narrative

Pocket Rocket Strength was built in direct opposition to the messages Georgie grew up with.

That smaller is better.

That worth is measured by weight.

That fitness is about shrinking yourself.

Her work challenges all of that.

Instead of chasing aesthetics, Georgie focuses on strength: physical, mental, and emotional.

Her goal isn’t transformation photos or unrealistic standards.

It’s helping women feel amazing in their own skin, develop a positive relationship with their bodies, and discover what they’re capable of when strength becomes the goal.

If she can help even a few women feel empowered, confident, and at home in their bodies, she considers her work done.

That’s success to her.

Building a Business Through Pain, Literally

Behind the scenes, Georgie has been fighting another battle.

For years, she’s dealt with severe kidney infections and chronic UTIs, resulting in repeated hospital admissions, ongoing pain, and no clear diagnosis.

Despite working through weeks and months of untreated or mis-treated illness, she never stepped away from her business.

Not because it was easy.

But because it mattered.

Her work gives her purpose and that purpose keeps her moving forward, even on the hardest days.

She describes herself as stubborn but it’s that same determination that has carried her through illness, uncertainty, and exhaustion.

She hopes this is the year answers finally come and with them, healing.

Choosing Growth Over Comfort

As she looks ahead, Georgie is preparing to bring a long-planned project to life: one she’s been quietly building toward for years.

It represents growth.

Expansion.

And stepping outside what’s familiar.

Because comfort, she believes, can be the biggest barrier to becoming who you’re meant to be.

Growth is scary.

Change is scary.

But staying still is scarier.

Her philosophy is simple: do what scares you, show up anyway, and trust that clarity comes through action, not waiting.

At Reignelle, we honor women like Georgie.

The ones who turn pain into purpose.

Who redefine strength.

Who build spaces where women feel safe, powerful, and seen.

Pocket Rocket Strength exists because no woman should ever feel alone in her body and because strength, in every sense of the word, changes lives.
