Holding Space for Healing
Alexandra Williams and Gabrielle A. Hill are the co-founders of G&A Collective, creating immersive wellness experiences rooted between Riverside, California and Toledo, Ohio.
As certified yoga guides, their work centers on something deeply needed in today’s world: space.
Not just physical space but emotional and spiritual space where people can exhale, reconnect and feel truly supported.
Through their retreats, Alexandra and Gabrielle invite individuals to reclaim their power, nurture their inner worlds and return to themselves with intention.
Their environments are designed with care, honoring diverse stories and lived experiences so that everyone who enters feels seen, heard and deeply held.
At the heart of their work is a simple yet powerful belief: healing happens when people feel safe enough to be themselves.
A Friendship Reignited with Purpose
Their journey began long before the business.
Once college friends, Alexandra and Gabrielle found their way back to each other through shared experiences of burnout and the life-changing impact of yoga and mindfulness.
What started as personal healing evolved into something much bigger.
They recognized a gap, spaces that felt both intentional and inclusive for professionals seeking deeper connection with themselves and their communities.
From that realization, G&A Collective was born.
Not just as a business but as a response to a need they themselves had once felt.
Building Something from Nothing
Creating these experiences wasn’t easy.
In fact, one of their greatest challenges was starting entirely from scratch.
With only a vision to guide them, they had to find the right people, partners and resources to bring their retreats to life.
They were intentional every step of the way, choosing to collaborate with small, locally owned businesses that aligned with their values.
Quality, integrity and care were never negotiable.
Because for Alexandra and Gabrielle, this work carries responsibility.
Their guests trust them to guide and nurture them through deeply personal experiences and that trust shapes every decision they make.
When Self-Care Feels Out of Reach
As their work grows, new challenges continue to emerge.
One of the most present is sustainability, not just of the business, but of accessibility.
While there is strong interest from their community, many people face financial limitations and unpredictable life circumstances.
In a world that often treats rest as a reward rather than a necessity, self-care can feel like a luxury instead of something essential.
Alexandra and Gabrielle are actively navigating this tension, holding both their mission and the realities of their audience with compassion.
Balancing Vision with Reality
Like many founders, they are building this work alongside full-time careers.
Limited time and resources can make visibility a challenge, especially when trying to reach women between the ages of 27 and 50 in meaningful ways.
Yet, despite these constraints, they continue to show up with intention.
Because their work isn’t just about growth, it’s about impact.
It’s about creating spaces that matter.
Spaces that stay with people long after the retreat ends.
At Reignelle, we continue to share the stories of women who are building with purpose, creating meaningful experiences and reminding us that care, connection, and community are not luxuries, they are essential.
