Prevention Begins in Midlife

Helping People Protect Their Brain Health for the Future

Amanda Price is a health coach and personal fitness trainer.

Supporting people to take control of their health.

With a strong focus on brain health.

And reducing the risk of dementia.

Through her work, she helps people navigate the overwhelming world of health information.

Turning it into something practical.

Personalised.

And achievable.

Because better health isn’t about doing everything.

It’s about doing what works for you.

A Personalised Approach to Long-Term Health

At the core of Amanda’s work is individuality.

No two people are the same.

And neither are their health journeys.

She works with a wide range of clients.

From those managing chronic stress or pre-diabetes…

To individuals with mild cognitive impairment.

And those simply wanting to protect their brain health.

As a fitness trainer, she also supports older adults and people with Parkinson’s.

Helping them build strength.

Balance.

And mobility.

Because movement isn’t just beneficial.

In some cases, it’s essential.

A Journey Shaped by Personal Experience

Amanda’s path into this work was deeply personal.

After her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s…

And her brother became seriously ill.

She began questioning health on a deeper level.

Exploring how lifestyle and nutrition impact the body and mind.

As she made changes in her own life…

She saw improvements in her own health.

Which led her to train as a personal trainer.

And later, as a health coach.

Her growing interest in brain health took her further.

Leading her to specialise in cognitive health and prevention.

Because she understands first-hand the impact dementia can have.

Not just on individuals.

But on entire families.

Building a Business From the Ground Up

Amanda started her business during COVID.

After moving back to the UK from France.

With no existing network.

She stepped into something completely new.

Online networking.

Building connections from scratch.

Learning as she went.

And finding her way in a new environment.

Raising Awareness Around Prevention

Today, one of her biggest challenges is awareness.

Helping people understand what health coaching is.

And how it can support them.

Especially in the UK, where the concept is still growing.

Another key part of her mission is education.

Shifting the perception of dementia.

From something associated only with old age…

To something influenced by midlife choices.

Because prevention is possible.

But only if people understand it.

Navigating Visibility and Self-Belief

If she’s honest, one of the things she still works through is visibility.

Sharing her message.

Marketing her work.

And putting herself out there.

There’s a part of her that prefers to let people come to her.

Knowing they’re already interested.

But she also recognises that reaching more people…

Requires stepping forward.

And being seen.

Supporting Health That Lasts

At the heart of Amanda’s work is prevention.

Helping people build habits that support them long-term.

Not just in avoiding illness.

But in living with more energy.

Clarity.

And resilience.

Because the choices we make today…

Shape how we live tomorrow.

At Reignelle, we’re reminded that true health isn’t just about reacting to illness, it’s about creating a foundation that supports us for the long run.
