Breaking the Mold, Blossom from the Inside Out

How One Behaviorist Is Rewriting the Rules

It starts with a quiet refusal — to do things the way they’ve always been done.

For Lindsay Lundquist, that meant stepping outside of a rigid, insurance-dictated system that didn’t serve the very people it claimed to help.

In 2022, she took a leap.

What followed wasn’t just the launch of a business , it was a reimagining of what it means to support behavior, identity, and healing.

At Reignelle, we’re honored to share Lindsay’s story — a story of unlearning, rethinking, and building something more affirming, inclusive, and lasting.

When Systems Fall Short, You Build Better Ones

The traditional world of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) left Lindsay with more questions than answers and a gut-deep discomfort.

The mainstream model, shaped by insurance regulations and often rooted in compliance-based frameworks, didn’t align with the values she held.

She wanted more for herself, her clients, and the field.

So she left.

In the messy, beautiful middle of uncertainty, Lindsay created Blossom Behavioral Solutions.

Her model wasn’t born from a handbook. It was born from lived experience, late-night reflections, and a deep desire to do better.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, neurodiverse-affirming principles, and a fierce respect for emotional regulation, Lindsay began building something more human and more healing.

Redefining “Behavior”

In a world that often confuses “behavior” with “bad,” Lindsay reframes the entire conversation.

To her, behavior is just action — it’s not about yelling, lashing out, or defiance.

It’s information.

A reflection of the inner world.

A signal that something deeper needs attention.

This isn’t about “fixing” anyone.

It’s about creating space for people especially young adults to explore who they are, what’s blocking them, and what it would look like to finally bloom.

Her sessions aren’t just coaching.

They’re quiet revolutions guiding clients through mindset shifts, emotional regulation, and belief rewrites.

She teaches people to self-advocate, self-reflect, and take small, powerful steps forward.

Blossoming is Bittersweet

It’s a strange paradox: the better she is at her job, the sooner her clients leave.

Lindsay’s greatest success is seeing someone no longer need her.

The story she carries closest is of a teen who once struggled deeply but who now beams with clarity, joy, and self-trust. “I think I’m ready,” they said.

And they were.

These moments are both endings and beginnings.

Lindsay’s clients don’t just grow, they transform.

They step into agency.

Autonomy.

And balance.

The Quiet Courage Behind the Scenes

But growth hasn’t come without cost.

Launching Blossom meant stepping into uncharted terrain — publishing books, managing a multi-branch model, navigating broken publisher contracts, and resisting the pressure to conform.

All while managing fear, finances, and fatigue.

Behind the scenes, Lindsay has wrestled with self-doubt and social isolation.

She’s healing from a breakup that reshaped her personal world just as her professional one was gaining speed.

And yet, she’s here.

Working out.

Making real-world connections.

Putting herself in spaces that feed her mind, her body, and her spirit.

Her growth is intentional.

Sustainable.

And deeply self-aware.

You Were Never Meant to Stay Small

Lindsay’s story is a living reminder that true transformation doesn’t happen by playing it safe.

It happens when you bet on your values, your vision, and your voice even when the system tells you not to.

At Reignelle, we celebrate women who dare to break the mold and build better models.

Lindsay isn’t just changing minds, she’s shaping futures.

And the ripple effect is just beginning.
