Finding Joy Through Healing

Grief Recovery with Healfulness

Grief is not just about death.

It’s the loss of identity, the betrayal, the estrangement, the broken dreams, and even the version of life we once thought we’d have.

Kendal, the founder of Healfulness, has made it her mission to guide people through the often painful, yet transformative, journey of emotional completion.

Through a gentle but structured approach, she helps individuals navigate their grief, reconnect with themselves, and reclaim the life they’ve always deserved.

What makes Healfulness different? It’s not therapy.

It’s not about mindset coaching.

It’s a sacred process that allows people to complete their grief to finish what was emotionally unfinished, so they can step forward with self-trust, softness, and joy.

From Grief to Healing

Kendal’s path to healing began long before she launched Healfulness.

It was during her time as a digital marketing professional and VA business owner that she realized something was missing.

Despite outward success, there was a quiet ache inside her, something she couldn’t name.

It wasn’t until she became a mother that it all clicked—she wasn’t broken, she was grieving.

With this realization, everything changed. Kendal became certified through the Grief Recovery Institute® and began her own healing journey, discovering a deeper sense of purpose.

She knew then that her calling was to help others complete their grief and come back to themselves.

This insight inspired her to create Healfulness, a space where people could heal from all kinds of emotional wounds without shame or rush.

Healing Beyond the Surface

The work Kendal does is about emotional completion, not just addressing symptoms.

Many of the emotional patterns we struggle with like people-pleasing, burnout, overgiving, overeating, and numbing are actually expressions of grief.

The emotional pain we carry often shows up in these behaviors, but it’s not until we understand the root causes that we can truly heal.

Kendal’s method blends structure with softness, walking clients through their grief in a safe, compassionate space.

Through her evidence-based process, clients are gently guided to complete their grief and move forward, not by fixing what’s broken but by embracing the process with integrity and emotional fluency.

The Sacred Responsibility of Healing Others

While marketing and business systems came naturally to Kendal, the real challenge in building Healfulness was learning to hold emotional responsibility.

The work she does is sacred, and that means showing up fully vulnerable, even when it’s uncomfortable.

“I’m asking my clients to be deeply honest with themselves, to name what hurts, and to look at what’s unfinished,” she shares.

“To do that well, I have to hold the mirror to myself too.”

Running Healfulness requires Kendal to constantly show up, emotionally present, even when it feels exposing.

She acknowledges that this work demands a new kind of leadership—one rooted in authenticity, integrity, and a deeper sense of emotional responsibility.

But it’s in this vulnerability that the magic happens.

The deeper the courage to be seen, the greater the potential for transformation.

Navigating Fear and Building Confidence in a Sacred Space

For Kendal, the most vulnerable part of her journey has been visibility.

In her previous business, she was behind the scenes, helping others shine.

But Healfulness has called her to step forward, speak openly about her own grief, and share her personal healing journey.

Even when her voice shakes and the fear of being exposed feels overwhelming, she continues to show up, because she knows it’s in that openness that true healing begins—for her and for those she serves.

But the fear of getting it wrong of not living up to the sacredness of this work, often holds her back.

Visibility, energy, motherhood, and personal healing all coexist, and the balancing act is a challenge.

Still, Kendal remains committed to building a business that serves her—one that is not only successful but also sustainable and fulfilling.

Stepping into Emotional Freedom

At Reignelle, we believe that true freedom comes when we complete our grief, when we allow ourselves to heal from the inside out.

Kendal’s work with Healfulness offers a path to emotional liberation, helping individuals complete what was once unfinished and begin to live again with joy, self-trust, and soft vulnerability.
