Are You Heart Hungry?
Emma Moody, founder of SonderSelf Mentoring and an Eating Disorders Recovery Coach based in Denver, Colorado.
Emma supports clients in finding true freedom from food and body struggles through human-centered virtual coaching.
Her work goes beyond meal plans or surface-level behaviour change. It’s about healing the relationship with self.
She often asks a powerful question: Are you heart hungry?
Because for Emma, recovery isn’t just about food.
It’s about nourishment in the deepest sense, creativity, peace, self-expression and becoming the person you were always meant to be.
She guides clients not only toward food and body freedom, but toward a fuller, more expansive life beyond an eating disorder.
Recovery as a Gateway
SonderSelf was born from Emma’s belief that recovery is not just possible, it’s transformative.
She sees healing as a gateway into a more beautiful, aligned life.
A life where identity is no longer defined by control, restriction or self-criticism.
A life where creativity and authenticity can return.
Her work is grounded in compassion and lived understanding of the mental health journey.
She knows that recovery is not linear.
There are seasons of discouragement, fatigue and doubt.
One of her greatest personal challenges has been staying the course, continuing to believe in the necessity and value of her work even when growth feels slow.
But each time, she chooses to keep going.
Because she knows how deeply this support is needed.
Building the Bridge to the Right People
Right now, Emma’s biggest challenge is visibility and client acquisition, particularly for her group course, Alchemy Nourish.
Like many heart-led entrepreneurs, marketing and funnels are not her natural strengths.
She has the passion, the depth and the transformation but navigating the technical side of attracting and converting clients has been a learning curve.
The work itself is powerful. The next step is building clearer pathways so the people who need it most can find it.
At Reignelle, we honour women like Emma who hold space for profound healing, reminding us that recovery is not the end of something, but the beginning of everything.
