Breaking the Pattern of Overgiving
Lori Marini Rahmlow is an Identity and Nervous System Recalibration Mentor based in St. Petersburg, Florida, devoted to helping high-performing women break free from cycles of overextending, people-pleasing and quiet burnout.
The women she works with are capable.
Driven.
The ones everyone relies on.
But beneath that, they’re exhausted.
Not because they’re doing too much, but because somewhere along the way, they stopped choosing themselves.
Lori’s work addresses the root of that pattern.
Guiding women back to their sovereign self, where they feel grounded, clear, and fully at home within who they are.
Not through pushing harder.
But through reclaiming what was never lost.
The Decision That Changed Everything
Lori’s work was born from one of the most defining moments of her life.
A diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer.
As a Physician Assistant in Pathology, she understood the clinical reality.
The data.
The outcomes.
But nothing prepared her for the emotional experience.
The fear.
The overwhelm.
The isolation.
And when conventional medicine alone wasn’t enough, she made a decision that challenged everything she had been taught.
She chose a different path.
Blending traditional treatment with holistic healing.
Going deep into the inner work.
Emotional healing.
Identity transformation.
And through that journey, she didn’t just survive.
She transformed.
What she discovered became the foundation of everything she now teaches.
That healing is not just physical.
It’s a radical act of choosing yourself.
Fully.
Without waiting for permission.
Living the Work in Real Time
One of the most challenging seasons of Lori’s life came shortly after her diagnosis, when her father was diagnosed with cancer as well.
Suddenly, she was holding everything.
Her own healing.
Her parents’ needs.
Her career.
And the early stages of building her business.
In that moment, she faced a truth she couldn’t ignore.
She was last on her own list.
Even while building a body of work centered around helping women choose themselves, she found herself doing the opposite.
Giving everything.
Running on empty.
That realization became a turning point.
Because she had to live the work she was teaching.
Not as a concept.
But as survival.
Learning that choosing yourself doesn’t mean abandoning others.
It means including yourself in your own life.
And that lesson now lives at the core of everything she offers.
Calling in the Women Who Are Ready
Lori’s focus is not just on reaching more people, but on reaching the right people.
Women who are ready.
Not just resonating with the message, but willing to act on it.
Because there is a difference between understanding and choosing.
The women she serves are intelligent and resourceful.
Often used to figuring things out on their own.
But what they don’t always see is how long they’ve been carrying it alone.
Lori’s work shortens that path.
Offering a way to move through transformation with support, clarity, and depth.
But it requires a decision.
To stop waiting.
And to choose themselves now.
Stepping Fully Into Visibility
For a long time, Lori’s biggest barrier was internal.
Questioning her value.
Hesitating to be fully seen.
Waiting for others to recognize the impact of her work.
But something has shifted.
A deeper knowing.
A certainty that this work creates real, lasting change.
And with that, a new level of visibility.
One where she is no longer shrinking.
No longer holding back.
But stepping forward fully.
Because the women who need this work are looking for it.
And when they find it, she intends to meet them there.
Fully present.
Fully grounded.
Fully chosen.
At Reignelle, we share the stories of women who have walked through life-altering moments, turned them into powerful frameworks for change and remind us that the most transformative decision we can make is to finally choose ourselves.
