When Symptoms Become Signals

Roots That Became Remedies

There’s a moment in every woman’s life when Shirin realizes that what she calls “normal” isn’t actually normal at all the exhaustion, the pain, the symptoms she’s told to silence.

We love speaking to women who reach this moment and choose a different path.

We’re sharing the story of a woman who rebuilt her health, her confidence, and her life through ancestral knowing, natural medicine, and self-trust, and then turned around to offer that same possibility back to others.

What first looks like a career launch is actually a deep return.

What seems like a health journey becomes a calling.

What appears to be new began decades ago.

And that is precisely why we are here.

An Inner Knowing That Would Not Go Quiet

Long before Shirin opened her practice in Barcelona, long before she announced her offering on Instagram, found the space she would work from, or built her website, she was a woman living inside a body full of unanswered questions.

Years of symptoms moved through her nervous system, her digestion, her vision, her joints, her muscles, her breathing, her mood.

There were doctors and specialists, prescriptions and side effects, relief followed by relapse, hope followed by uncertainty.

No one could tell her why.

But her body was already speaking.

What changed everything was the moment she stepped into naturopathy, an approach rooted in whole-body healing, prevention, and the belief that symptoms are not enemies, but messages.

For the first time, her body wasn’t treated like a malfunction.

It was treated like a source of truth.

And for the first time, it responded.

That moment never left her.

Nature, Ancestry, Tradition All Pointing the Same Way

Healing didn’t end in one office.

It became a pilgrimage.

Shirin learned Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of whole-body wellness.

She traveled to India for treatment.

She went deep into Peru nearly twenty years ago to learn from shamans and the Amazon itself.

She worked within environmental spaces and witnessed how ecological destruction impacts human wellbeing and steals the very plants from which medicines are born.

She didn’t just study healing.

She lived inside it.

And without even knowing it yet, she was building the foundation of the work she does now.

There was also a reminder from her father that her great-grandmother in Iran was a medicine woman.

Something moved inside her the moment she heard it.

This work wasn’t new.

It was inherited.

The Hard Road to Choosing Herself

The most difficult part wasn’t the illness.

It wasn’t the study.

It wasn’t building the practice.

It was choosing a path outside convention, turning away from the medical career everyone understood, and choosing a healing path that many questioned.

Shirin wanted to sound credible.

She wanted to be respected.

She wanted to be free from the feeling of being “different,” something she carried from childhood through cultural identity, mixed roots, moving homes, and never perfectly fitting in.

And like many daughters of immigrant families, she learned to excel early, graduating from university with high honors and high expectations.

But her body told her the truth that school could not:
healing is not found in silencing symptoms; it is found in listening to them.

And that truth became her compass.

The Calling Becomes a Practice

In 2025, she completed her naturopathic studies, opened her professional Instagram, built her website, and announced the opening of her practice.

Today, she offers deeply personalized support for women who feel like strangers in their own bodies, creating natural healing plans that evolve as the body evolves month by month, phase by phase, layer by layer.

She believes healing is not about managing life, but reclaiming it.

She believes prevention is the greatest tool we have.

And she believes women deserve support that meets the reality of their lives, especially those managing careers, families, homes, pressure, and invisible weight.

This is not a system.

It is a relationship.

Courage, Visibility, and the Next Doorway

Like many healers, finding the women who need her most is her next frontier.

She isn’t a content creator.

She isn’t looking for the spotlight.

Outreach is vulnerable, especially when rejection feels personal.

But she keeps moving.

She keeps showing up.

And she keeps saying yes to courage because she knows what is on the other side: women getting their lives back.

Not surviving, but thriving.

Seeds That Turn Into Futures

At Reignelle, we love stories like this not because they are polished, but because they are honest.

Healing doesn’t move in straight lines.

Neither does calling.

But when a woman listens deeply to her body, to her ancestry, to her nature, to her truth, she becomes impossible to stop.
