When Teaching Becomes a Way of Life

Living Yoga Beyond the Mat

At Reignelle, we’re always drawn to women who don’t just teach a practice, but live it.

This story is about devotion not to perfection, but to presence.

It’s about someone who has spent decades guiding others back into their bodies, their breath, and themselves, while courageously listening when life whispered, this path needs to shift.

This is a story about movement, motherhood, reinvention, and choosing alignment over expectation.

A Life Guided by Breath and Joy

For over twenty years, Evangeline has been teaching yoga, movement, and self-love, weaving breath and embodiment into the everyday lives of her students.

Five years ago, she expanded that devotion into her podcast, offering her voice, warmth, and wisdom to a wider world.

Her work has always been about more than poses it’s about helping people live fully, consciously, and with heart.

She teaches from experience, not theory.

She encourages students to relax, to have fun, to stop striving and start listening.

Yoga, as she lives it, is not something you perform it’s something you embody.

Off the mat, on the mat, and everywhere in between.

When a Dream Teaches You Something New

There was a time when opening a yoga studio felt like the dream.

It made sense.

It looked right on paper.

But once Evangeline stepped into it, she realized something quietly profound: it wasn’t her path after all.

Instead of freedom, she found herself surrounded by the very things she had hoped to move away from admin work, screens, endless logistics.

At the same time, life was asking more of her. She was navigating a breakup while caring for a young child, holding space for others while trying to hold herself together.

It was a tender, challenging season.

And yet, it clarified something essential.

What she truly wanted was not to manage a business it was to teach, to connect, to share her passion directly, without dilution.

Letting go of the studio wasn’t failure.

It was self-trust.

Teaching as a Way of Being

What sets Evangeline apart is the way she practices what she teaches.

Self-love is not a concept in her world it’s a daily choice.

She reminds her students that giving back to yourself is not selfish; it’s necessary.

When you are resourced, rested, and regulated, you have more to give.

You become a fuller version of yourself.

Her classes, her podcast, her presence all carry the same message: be yourself, breathe deeply, and let life be lived not rushed.

Even now, as she names consistency as her growing edge, there is no self-judgment in it.

Just honesty.

Life gets full.

Focus drifts.

And still, she returns again and again to what matters.

That is yoga, too.

Choosing Alignment Over Expectation

At Reignelle, we believe that true wellness isn’t about building bigger or louder it’s about building truer.

Evangeline’s journey reminds us that it’s okay to outgrow a dream, to redefine success, and to choose joy over structure.

Her work continues to ripple outward through breath, movement, and gentle encouragement to live well, love fully, and come home to yourself.
