When Nicolette Di Carlo first had a dream about creating a documentary, she knew it wasn’t just a fleeting idea.

It was a message, straight from the Holy Spirit.

That night marked a turning point.

It wasn’t just about filmmaking anymore.

It was about listening, surrendering, and following a spiritual assignment.

Since then, God has given her not just one task, but many  and Nicolette has followed through with each one, faithfully, creatively, and courageously.

But this wasn’t an overnight transformation.

It was the result of a long-burning desire — something she’d been nurturing since 2012, quietly, passionately, waiting for the right moment to bring it to life.

In 2020, DreamSeen Productions became official.

And it hasn’t stopped evolving since.

Faith, Film, and Fear: The Entrepreneur’s Journey

Running your own business is never easy but running one built on faith, calling, and creative passion?

“There are moments when I feel overwhelmed by the financial reality of entrepreneurship,” she admits.

“It’s hard to promote your work when you’re also questioning whether anyone really sees it — or sees you.”

She’s faced the fear of not being “qualified” enough of people misunderstanding her message or questioning her credibility.

But she’s learned to answer those fears the same way she answers everything else: in prayer.

“I just talk to God about it,” she says. “I ask for clarity. For peace. For strength.”

And the signs always come.

Whether it’s positive feedback on one of her books, a kind comment on a video, or simply the calm assurance that she’s making a difference — Nicolette listens.

And then she gets back to work.

Because this is more than content.

This is calling.

“Living with others makes it hard to fully trust my own instincts,” she shares.

“I’ve had to learn how to own my voice, even when it feels shaky.”

And yes, the fear of not being able to support herself as a full-time entrepreneur is real.
