A Journey of Balance
It wasn’t always like this.
There was a time when I, Amanda Whittaker, was caught up in extremes.
As a young dancer and athlete, fitness was a natural part of my life. But during college, things took a turn.
The pressures of academics and life shifted my focus away from movement, and I lost touch with the body that once felt so strong and free.
As life went on, I entered law school—a challenging, demanding environment that left little room for self-care.
My body was no longer my ally. But, in the middle of the stress, I found something that would change everything: yoga.
It wasn’t just the physical postures; it was the grounding peace that yoga gave me during one of the most chaotic times in my life.
I wasn’t just practicing yoga, I was reconnecting with myself.
From Layoff to Lifelong Mission
After a layoff from my law firm, I found the courage to take a leap into something that had always felt right: yoga.
I dove in, headfirst, and started teaching, connecting with students who were looking for the same kind of release and reconnection I had found.
I wasn’t just helping them practice postures, I was guiding them back to themselves, helping them find peace amidst the noise of life.
Over the years, I ventured deeper into the world of fitness, exploring everything from high-intensity training to strict diets, always chasing the elusive “perfect body.”
But I eventually realized that neither extremes of over-indulgence nor over-restriction would bring lasting fulfillment.
The balance I sought didn’t come from pushing myself to the limit or holding myself back—it came from embracing small, sustainable shifts that felt good and aligned with my body.
The Elevated Method: Finding Freedom
This realization sparked the creation of my signature Elevated Method, a holistic approach to fitness and wellness designed for women who are tired of the extremes and want to feel better, more energized, and more balanced in their own skin.
I realized that the solution wasn’t about working harder or faster—it was about working smarter.
My method isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” approach, but a journey of small, manageable changes.
For the busy women I work with—those juggling careers, families, and a never-ending to-do list—the key is efficiency.
The change is in the details: less bloating, more energy, and, most importantly, the ability to live in your body with ease.
Small Changes Lead to Big Results
One of the most powerful moments in my work so far was when a client came to me with a breakthrough.
She had always felt derailed by the occasional “bad meal,” but after a few weeks of working together, she realized that it was okay to indulge every now and then.
One meal wouldn’t undo her progress.
That shift in mindset was everything.
Another client reported feeling less bloated just a week after starting with me, a tangible win that showed her that small, sustainable changes can yield real results.
These moments remind me why I do what I do.
I’m here to help women find peace with their bodies and their wellness journey.
A New Era of Wellness
My mission is clear: to help women break free from the extremes and embrace a holistic, balanced approach to fitness and nutrition.
We don’t need crazy restrictive diets or punishing workouts to thrive.
We need to find what feels right for our bodies.
For me, it was about slowing down and tuning into my own needs.
I want every woman to experience this—freedom, alignment, and joy in movement.
